Celebrate the grand finale of LGBTQIA+ History Month in style at our third annual Fundraising Progression Ball on Friday 27th February at The Gosforth Park Hotel, hosted by Peter Darrant, Chair of Out North East. The night will sparkle with joy, laughter, and community, featuring Gloria Love making her Ball debut, our much-loved everyone-wins raffle, and exciting new acts and games that promise surprises, entertainment, and unforgettable memories. Come raise a glass to our history, our progress, and the resilience of our community with a night of glamour, fun, and celebration not to be missed!

The evening will celebrate the end of Pride History Month with an awards ceremony recognising the outstanding achievements of individuals and groups across the region who promote and support our local LGBTQIA+ communities. Their dedication helps make the North a more inclusive, diverse, and accepting place for everyone.
This year’s theme honours the progression of LGBTQIA+ human rights throughout history, celebrating how far we have come—and the people who continue to lead the way.
Nominations in the following categories are open and will close at midnight on February the 10th 2026 the following categories:
